"Monster Force was a 13-episode animated television series created in 1994 by Universal Cartoon Studios and Canadian studio Lacewood Productions. The story is set in approx. 2020 and centers on a group of teenagers who, with help of high tech weaponry, fight off against classic Universal Monsters and spiritual beings threatening humanity. On a trip to his ancestral home in Llanwelly, Wales, Lawrence Talbot was attacked by a werewolf. The Talbot family has been cursed ever since. Luke Talbot is Lawrence Talbot's grandson. Desperate to free himself, and any future generations of Talbots, he has researched his condition and is now willing to eradicate it by almost any means. In his search for a cure, he has met and joined forces with Dr. Reed Crawley, a brilliant Scientist and Paranormal Investigator who works by day as a college professor, and spends his nights battling evil as the leader of Monster Force. Together with several of Reed's graduate students, they travel the world hunting and containing monsters. Through his work with Reed, Luke has managed to gain a moderate amount of control over his lycanthropy, and can transform at will, though sometimes (mostly during the full moon) he still has to be restrained. At times he has no memory of what he does while transformed.
Luke is a mild mannered, if extremely private young man, who has been a werewolf his entire life (although the curse did not begin to take effect until his teens). As such, he finds it difficult to be close to people, as he fears he will one day hurt someone he cares about. He doesn't get out much. Appearance-wise, he's very average looking. Average height. Brown hair. Well built. Healthy. Tan. He has a soft voice and tends to keep his emotions tightly in check, although he can angst and mope with the best of them. In werewolf form he's taller and broader, with grey fur, fangs, claws, and pointed ears. It is difficult to talk, but he manages in a deep raspy growl that both sounds and is painful. He tends to dress a little "futuristically" and utilitarian: a lot of khaki and motorcycle boots and fingerless gloves (future!). His shirts and belt buckle have the Monster Force logo (an 'F' in the middle of an 'M') on them. He often wears glasses, although he doesn't need them.
He hopes to one day be a normal human man with a normal human life.
